Cycle X (“we”, “the app”) is an Egyptian on-demand scrap collection platform. We respect your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, and how we use and protect it when you use our customer app.

Data we collect

• Account data (via Google Sign-In): your name and email address — to create your account and sign you in.
• Mobile number: to verify your account and let the assigned agent contact you.
• Addresses & location: governorate, area, address details, and GPS coordinates if you choose to share them — so the agent can reach you.
• Order data: items and estimated quantities, photos of your scrap that you upload for assessment, and order status and value.
• Loyalty points: your points balance and transactions.

How we use your data

• To operate the service: review your request, offer it to a suitable agent, and complete collection and payment.
• To communicate with you about your order and its status.
• To manage loyalty points and rewards.
• To improve service quality and prevent abuse and fraud.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only the minimum necessary:

• The agent assigned to your order: sees your name, mobile number, and address — only to fulfil the order, and only after they accept it.
• Infrastructure providers: we use Google (for sign-in) and Supabase (for secure data storage) as technical service providers.
• Legal compliance: where required by law.

Data protection & retention

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS) and strict access controls. We retain your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

• Access or edit your data within the app.
• Request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
• Withdraw location-sharing consent at any time.
